A privilege and pleasure to be able to record some of our original tunes in one of the most famous studios in the world! Thanks so much to the Abbey Road team and the YSJ team for such a great afternoon!

The SAM JOHNSON TRIO, led by pianist Sam Johnson bring a classic mid-century jazz vibe in the style of the Vince Guaraldi Trio and the Oscar Peterson Trio.

SAM JOHNSON; piano, GEORGIA JOHNSON; db. bass & JAMES WOOD; drums, along with occasional features from lead soloists and vocalists, bring their retro flavour to both their original material, and their takes on classic jazz standards.

The trio have recently recorded two original tracks live at the world famous ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS, amongst sessions for a number of studio releases. You can check out their current discography below.
